First Edition (limited to 1500 copies). Oversized: Measures approx. 11.5 X 13.5 inches. 126 black and white photographs by Harry Callahan, with an essay by Hugo Weber. Laid in is the publisher's promotional poster/broadside titled "Photographs: Harry Callahan" issued in Santa Barbara by El Mochuela Gallery in 1964. measuring 22-1/4 by 11 inches. The broadside is lightly worn, soiledand creased, and folded into thirds. BOOK CONDITION: Near Fine; a solid, tight, clean copy showing light rubbing to covers and the usual toning to the pastedowns/endpapers with a tap to the upper spine affecting the interior of the pages near gutter (noticable when observed closely and in raking light); housed in a Fine slipcase showing hints of rubbing to the extremities.
